Cheap tropical wedding destinations

Vegetarian restaurants. They don't take American currency nor have change for American money. I suppose the location makes it difficult to stay in business. However, it is also close enough to enjoy a day out in the Cancun Hotel Zone and do all the shopping you need without having to travel very far.
